Halloween Evenings

Come along for a frightfully fantastic evening with Beamish Museum’s Halloween Evenings on 27th, 28th and 31st October 2023, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Join us for a special spine-tingling experience as Beamish is transformed into The Un-living Museum of the North.

There are more than a few ghosts roaming the grounds of Pockerley Old Hall - do you dare to visit the oldest original building in Beamish after dark?

Don’t let our Pit Village folk fool you, there’s more to this seemingly sleepy idyll than meets the eye…

Be sure to keep your wits about you if you dare to walk through Birch Wood, who knows what may be lurking beyond the trees?

Play the night away with fiendishly family-friendly fun and games in our 1950s welfare hall.

Our cobbled Edwardian street is home to more than just our townsfolk at Halloween, meet the newest inhabitants and enjoy some enthralling entertainment.

No tricks here, just delicious treats from Herron’s Bakery, Jubilee Sweet Shop and The Sun Inn. We will also have a number of our catering outlets open, with delicious refreshments to sink your teeth into…

Don’t forget to visit the frightful Fairground for a spin on the thrilling rides!

This is a separate ticketed evening event – Beamish Unlimited Passes and Friends of Beamish memberships are not valid for evening events.

If you need a carer’s ticket, please book the rest of your party online and then call 0191 370 4000 and quote your reference number to book a carer’s ticket.
