1900s Bearing Rein Enamel Sign
£8.99Designed exclusively for Beamish, this sign is a replica of an original enamel sign which is often admired and photographed in our 1900s Town stables. It is 20cm x 15cm and is produced in the UK.
Did you know that in the early 1900s, horses were still the main form of transport for goods and deliveries in towns and cities around the country? It was also common for stables to be situated near pubs and inns, just like ours is in The 1900s Town, as they were a place for travellers and their horses to rest or for people to meet.
